Insert an Image

Note: images must be uploaded to the server first before adding to a web page. See section 3. Uploading items

- Click on ‘insert/edit image’ button (bottom row of toolbar, 3rd icon). A window will pop up.

- The middle column displays the images you have in your ‘stories’ folder. Find the image you want and click once on it.

- At the top, the full URL will be put into the URL box. Change the Description and Title boxes to a message you would like to appear when someone hovers over the image on the site.

- You may also change the dimensions (in pixels) of the image – make it smaller or bigger (bigger not recommended due to quality loss). Keep the proportional box ticked to avoid distorting the image.

- Use Vspace (vertical) and Hspace (horizontal) to put padding, or space around the image.

- Choose the Alignment of the image – use left or right align to have the image appear next to writing – an example is shown in the pop up window.

- If you need a border around the image, tick the box and edit to your needs. If you do not require a border, it is good practice to put 0 (zero) in the border box.

- Once you have finished formatting the image, click the INSERT button.
